Customer feedback: What's the biggest win?
We caught up with a mason contractor recently after completing their first masonry project using MULE, and this is what they had to say.
Production Boost 📈
The units being installed were 16x16” CMU – definitely not the fastest units to install, as any mason will tell you. Adding to the already cumbersome process, was the rebar scheduling. Two #6 rebar per core were run high overhead, making installation a meticulous process. However, with the MULE handling the weight of the CMU, the masons were now able to finesse the block up and over the rebar, resulting in a 25% INCREASE in production vs their typical production rate on this type of wall construction.
However, the biggest benefit noted by the contractor was not in the production increase he saw…
“I’ve had 3 hernia cases in my crew over the past few years.Masonry is heavy work, but I see MULE as an opportunity to change that.”
